“Gotcha” mobs / glitches for Hardcore

Hi all, just started playing hardcore and it breathed new life into WoW for me.

I’m comfortable with the risk involved, even when it could be caused by server crashes or lag.

However, for some reason, it grinds my gears when people are able to kite high level mobs into “safe” areas which then
Glitch and stick around, killing lowbies on sight. Guards ignoring the mob.

This happened to HC player(s) in ashenvale and it made me feel a bit burned out. Like, I almost considered leveling a normal character in parallel - or cap it - so that I can scout ahead for any dumb gotcha gimmicks or glitches. Normally I would consider this bad form, but if people exploit glitches to purposefully try to kill HC characters then you have to fight fire with fire.

Anyway, any other “gotcha” glitches or mobs in the game that behave unexpectedly for someone coming from vanilla/classic? I’ve heard of some aoe-triggered unseen in dusk wood, as well.
