What to do in Sunnyglade ?

I love the new battleground, but I don't understand what are its objectives.

There is a central flag point to control and shards to collect in the villages and caves.
I didn't find any npc to turn in the shards. One team had like 250 and it did nothing.
Controlling the flag doesn't seem to do much (?).
I found no npc who explained what to do either. People seemed also lost in the chat.

Does someone know the victory condition (and strategy) for this BG ?

Theres a High elf NPC in the mid keep, where you can hand in the sparks :)

The objective to start the final even is 300 sparks.
