Hi, I'm new to the game. I've never played WoW, but I've played a lot of MMOs.
I understand that Turtle is a bit different from Classic.
Could someone please give me a complete guide on Rogues in TurtleWow?
Swords?, axes?, daggers?, combat rogue? assasin rogue? combos?
i have a undead rogue. I'm just leveling now (SA SERVER), but I really like PvP.
thank you!!!
Hello! help me please! i'm a new player!

I'm not sure what to tell you. Do you want to know about rogues in general? They're fun, and they're solid DPS for sure. Weapon choices vary, but experimentation is the best way to go with that. For leveling, i chose Combat. Assassin picks up its potency once you get the ability to use poisons. As for Combos, this is typically what I do:
While stealthed, I use garrote. After that, i Sinister strike until about 3-4 combo points, then I lay on a Rupture. While that's going on, I use Eviscerate when i can. Someone once told me to keep up bleed abilities.
Don't be afraid to experiment. One thing to keep in mind is the Kick ability, Cheap shot, and Kidney shot. They are extremely useful to interrupt spells and the stuns can give your teammates time to unload on them.
PVP is loads of fun, but remember that rogues are opportunistic. A rogue that is attacked out of stealth first is exposed and vulnerable. Be sneaky, be methodical. Utilze your stuns and your bleeds with PVP.

So, I don't know that much about Rogues, but I can give some information about their playstyle (played Rogue years back, seen it been played here a bit, mostly going by what I see in the database.)
Rogues are melee duel-wielding DPS that can go invisible. While they are invisible, they can sneak past enemies, pick-pocket humanoids (free money!), and like surprise attack them with Ambush. They provide a ton of utility also:
Poisons
At level 20, Rogues learn to use poisons. As an example, Crippling Poison, "Coats a weapon with poison that lasts for 30 minutes. Each strike has a 30% chance of poisoning the enemy, slowing their movement speed by 50% for 12 sec." Quite handy for PvP too, so enemies can't run away. There are poisons that damage opponents over time. Slow the casting times of casters, and others. You get reagents from a vendor and create poisons using those reagents. Assassination talent tree is for poisons.
Weapons
Rogues' classic weapon is the dagger. Looking through the database, some attacks require them (Ambush, Backstab, ) while most don't. The combat talent tree deals with, well, combat. Also the talent "Dual-Wield Specialisation" improves the weapon damage of your off-hand weapon. Some things I see from the talent tree:
Rogues use "Energy" to perform all spells. Adrenaline Rush, the final talent of the Combat tree increases energy regeneration by 100% for 15 seconds. In the Assassination tree, second last row, on the left, there's a talent called Vigor, that increases your maximum available energy, and applying poisons gains some energy back. Honor Among Thieves, in the Subtlety tree, near the bottom, makes party members' crits give you 5 energy.
Rogues gain combo points by some moves, then spend them using others. On a target, you can have 5 combos max. If you reapply points to another target, they reset to 1 on your new target. The more points you have, the stronger your attack. Examples:
Eviscerate:
Finishing move that causes damage per combo point, increased by Attack Power:
1 point : 99-143 damage
2 points: 176-220 damage
3 points: 253-297 damage
4 points: 330-374 damage
5 points: 407-451 damage
Slice and Dice:
Finishing move that increases melee attack speed by 30%. Lasts longer per combo point:
1 point : 9 seconds
2 points: 12 seconds
3 points: 15 seconds
4 points: 18 seconds
5 points: 21 seconds
Subtlety
This is the support spec of rogue, to aid group members, and also helps with some utility enhancements. I don't know much about this, as it was changed in Turtle WoW to be quite different.

- Sap - Makes a humanoid unable to attack you, good if there are two mobs and you only need to kill one.
- Distract - Pulls mobs' attention to an area for about 10s; guess a use case for this would be needing to escape an area but mobs are blocking your path.
- Blind - Blind the target for 10s, like an interrupt of sorts.
- Gouge - Another stun, that prevents them from attacking.
- Kick - Spell interrupt, and prevents the school of magic from not been castable for a few seconds.
- Cheap Shot - A stun that can be used when stealthed.
- Kidney Shot - Another stun, that uses combo points.
