Problem with a custom quest

The quest in question is: A letter from a Friend, a follow up custom quest for A Bloody Good Deed.

For the Letter quest told you know what to do when you find “it” but from what I can see around the crashed racecar, there is nothing around the car. I know some vanilla quest were obtuse on instructions but this feels a little more than that. If “it” isn’t in or near the racecar how would I be able to find it.

Also I tried to leave a comment on the quest in the database but it seems it’s currently not possible
