What you expect for the next patch and when you think it will be released?
I expect it in March/April of 2025
-Grim Reaches
-Northwind
-Backdoor for Stormwind
-Backdoor for Orgrimmar to Azshara
-New Capital for the Horde or an Improve to Amani'Alor to make it the capital for the Horde
-A hint of Quel'thalas in the Eastern Plaguelands

Re: Patch 1.18.0
Would like to see Eversong Woods and Ghostlands finally added to the game, perhaps Silvermoon City could become a new raid?

Re: Patch 1.18.0
On the topic of Eversong Wastes vs. Ghostlands and Eversong Woods, is it likely that the lore will be mutually exclusive with TBC - a full retcon - or just earlier in the timeline with the High/Blood Elves having had less time to regroup?
I think the March/April guess for 1.18 sounds about right, since I understand 1.17 came later than they'd originally planned and already includes a bunch of the things that were slated for the "Along The Way" part of their roadmap. Since they included it in their roadmap, new dungeons will probably be included as well. I would be surprised if they didn't include some incremental balance updates, since that's surely a big concern after 1.17 changed things so dramatically. I do hope they can do something about how dominant Warrior DPS is.

Re: Patch 1.18.0
Hopefully they'll:
*Make the open world and leveling great again by buffing mobs up to Vanilla levels again, relative to the new player power.
*Revive specs they killed off (Shockadin, AoE Frost Mages, Spriest and SL Lock in PvP, etc.)
*Revert Class Homogenization (remove Holy Nova from Spriest, it makes no sense, and stop giving AoE to every class/spec)
*Revert the racial nerfs, but keep the buffs of the Goblin and Alliance racials.
*Tune down custom rewards to stop the growing Power Creep.
*Tune down the new specs to keep them in line with previous power levels, but balanced with other specs.
...and more.

Re: Patch 1.18.0
Basically, this. The only thing I really doubt is Amani'Alor improvement because we'll probably have Horde-affiliated Zul'Aman in 1.19 (and, unlike Quel'Thalas, ZA wasn't decimated by the Scourge). But I'd be glad to be wrong, Amani'Alor is hilarious in its current state.Dracarusggotham wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:38 pm What you expect for the next patch and when you think it will be released?

I also hope to see more class tuning. Balance is a trick thing, after all.
It can't be earlier, it's already 27th year now on TWoW. TBC events will not happen here.Allarielle wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:20 am On the topic of Eversong Wastes vs. Ghostlands and Eversong Woods, is it likely that the lore will be mutually exclusive with TBC - a full retcon - or just earlier in the timeline with the High/Blood Elves having had less time to regroup?

I agree with this, Zul'aman is always mentioned by forest trolls, and we have Zul'jin affiliated to the Horde, so it's the assumible way that they're going to take Zul'aman as the Horde capital.
On the topic of Quel'thalas, Turtle posted the fact that Eversong Forest here became Eversong Wastes, and here The Burning Crusade never happened, or maybe it will happen in a distant future.
Re: Patch 1.18.0
I really want Enchanting rework and improvement of survival profession.
Also, I think that more white crafted weapons and armor pieces will be good for Vagrants and Artisans.
PvP system improvement will be cool too.

Nothing to do here. Signing off.
Re: Patch 1.18.0
Dwaves definitely deserve better racials, they're comically behind the other races after the recent changes
Re: Patch 1.18.0
Before patch 1.18 I believe there will be smaller patch focused on PvP content. 1.17.3 maybe?
Faction leader loot, world PvP revived and possibly Sunnyglade Valley overhaul.
February 2025 maybe.

The devil is in the detail.
Alterac Valley Changes
Sunnyglade Valley FIX

Re: Patch 1.18.0
If Orgrimmar has a back gate, it's illogical to make that city cross-region. I don't think the modification in Cataclysm expansion is reasonable. In Warcraft III, the region of Azshara has a generally different landscape compared with the Barrens/Durotar. They are two or more seperate maps that should be geographically unrelated except with the Southfury River flowing past.
Two of my concerns.
1. Making draeneis relatives of eredars was Blizzard's overexploitation to the lore.
2. It can't be more explicit that Illidan, as an archetypal villain, dies in The Frozen Throne.

Re: Patch 1.18.0
I never have big expectation for every patch. only wish they add more QoL
1. Meeting stone as summoning stone. it's sucks when you join as replacement and everyone already inside or when that 1 party member are suuuuppperrr slow.
maybe need 4 people to use summoning stone so warlock summon still superior.
2. small pathway from Alterac Mountain to Trisfal Glade so alliance have easier way to go to SM. even better if there is no enemies like that tunnel between stonetalon and ashenvale.

Re: Patch 1.18.0
For many World of Warcraft players, obtaining the Keystone Master achievement is a true test of skill, patience, and teamwork. However, pushing high-level Mythic+ dungeons can often turn into a frustrating grind, especially when relying on random groups. One bad run, a mistimed ability, or an impatient teammate leaving mid-dungeon can set you back hours.
Instead of dealing with endless failed attempts, you can get a Keystone Master Boost from https://conquestcapped.com/wow/service/keystone-master/ . This service allows you to team up with experienced players who will carry you through the toughest dungeons, ensuring you secure the achievement, rating, and all the rewards that come with it. No stress, no wasted time—just smooth, efficient progress towards your WoW goals.

Re: Patch 1.18.0
Additional classes and custom races, new quest areas, and flying could last up to 1.5 minutes instead of 30 seconds, along with content that has at least15 to 20 GB.

Re: Patch 1.18.0
I wish for a rollback of a large part of cc2 in 1.18.
Or atleast the custom rewamps that makes some of the classes unrecognisable in the way they play.
Although i do not expect this, its more of a wish from my side.
I would rather try to bring turtle back, instead of just leaving like other veterans.
No custom content matters if the classes are in a wotlk/Sod state.
But it seems to be popular though, turtle has in some ways evolved into blizzard without the sub.
And i think the server will grow more if they do even more custom class overhauls.
Next logical step from that perspective would be dual wield for shaman.
