What is the best way to farm rep with Silvermoon (not cloth)
Are there quests or something else to do? I need to get to revered from friendly.
Imagine paying for World of Warcraft.
Re: What is the best way to farm rep with Silvermoon (not cloth)
They removed daily quests, so only farming clothes and doing basically quests

Check that list of quests (exclude quest with name [Deprecated]) https://database.turtle-wow.org/?factio ... ts:0+3+2+1

For me it is sad to see, that the Devs removed quest chains
* about searching a mom for little High elf girl in SW
* about establishing friendly relations with embassies of humans, dwarves, gnomes and a separate chain connected with helping the night elves in the fight against demons
* about estabilish moonwell in Alah'thalas
Were very good and lore wise quests.
P.S. also I did long time ago quest chain about fighting Higl elves with Scourge in Ghostlands. But it was available during little time slot before removed.

100% agree. In addition to that: Idk.. did they change anything about the troll faction on Horde side? Or can they still farm rep just by doing dailys? If so, the horde has it now much easier to farm reputation to get those good lvl 60 items.Elisleris wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 4:46 pm For me it is sad to see, that the Devs removed quest chains

And yes: I, too, think that it's a shame that those story lines are gone. And since we see no moon well in Alah'thalas.. is the lore of the Highelf/Nightelf-Story from before removed completly? Is that story gone? Was it all for naught?
Re: What is the best way to farm rep with Silvermoon (not cloth)
Completely agree, I did all the starting zone quests, turned it some cloth and still need around 300 rep to reach Honored... and checking the Twow database reveals that’s there a a ton of cancelled or deprecated quests that would give decent rep rewards. Devs, it would be really helpful if you could give us an explanation for this change, especially seeing how the system on horde side is unchanged. Or at least I can not see any cancelled or deprecated quests on horde side.
Currently the ONLY way to get Silvermoon to revered, if you are already honored, is by handing in around 5.000(!) Runecloth. That is currently going to run you around 380-390 gold depending on market conditions and in my opinion completely defeats the purpose of farming rep to get these items. Because if you just hit lv 60, gold is going to be a scarse resource and you are likely not going to invest that amount for some items that you might exchange in your first 1-3 raids. Also you would want to save up money for more important skills like epic riding anyway. If you are a veteran player and have enough gold, well you are very likely to have better gear anyways. That would basically mean that the rewards are accessible only as alt-gear for fresh lv 60 characters for veteran player, who can wire them enough money to buy enough Runecloth.
To me the question then becomes, who is the target audience for this gear and what system will players need to play to get the desired rewards? For me a combination of daylies and rep hand ins would be the best solution. Because even as an fresh lv 60, I could justify investing 100-150 gold to boost my way to revered but still complete some quests that would make the journey less expensive to me.
So please devs, reintroduce daylies and make the rewards more accessible! Also, if this is not the same on horde side, the system is hugely favored towards horde players.

You have more chances of getting hit by lightning than getting an answer or fix
Re: What is the best way to farm rep with Silvermoon (not cloth)
topic has been answered, more or less.
Atm only the Quests in Thalassian Highlands, and the few scattered quests in SW/IF are the only ones for Silvermoon Rep, else only rep farm via Cloth.
Don't be so offensive.

Why so toxic? Are you not loved irl? -_-

No, just, Sylveria is technically incorrect.
If there is a two year old post about an issue, it gets resolved six months later... and someone resurrects the post to get everyone in a tizzy over an issue that no longer exists, it is Necroing.
If the problem has never been addressed, resolved, or even a temporary work around created... the thread cannot be necroed because it never really closed... it's just old.

The topic is not about a problem, but about "the best way for farm rep with Silvermoon (not cloth)". Since there is no other way, the question has been answered and therefore the topic has been necro'ed.Carns wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 2:40 pm No, just, Sylveria is technically incorrect.
