Fishing bug, no skill+ in schools or wreckage

When fishing in open water such as in Stormwind or anywhere else, I achieve fishing skill up points at the rate expected for my level of fishing.

If instead I fish in pools or schools of fish, I receive no skill+ at all.

To test this I achieved 225 fishing by fishing in open water. I did the Nat Pagle quest to achieve 225/300 fishing.

I have since gone to Stranglethorn and fished over 50 Oily Blackmouth, 15 Stonescale Eel, and countless Iron Bound Trunk and Mithril Bound Trunk, from the pools around the coast. I am still 225/300 fishing. Not a single skill-up in probably 100+ successful catches.

I asked in guild and world chat about this, and nobody seems to have encountered it. But then again, nobody really fishes.

This is 100% a bug with fishing, I'm very surprised it hasn't been raised before now.

I am leveling fishing right now on a level 33 character. My fishing skill is 145. I have noticed that my skill + are fewer and far between than I am used to. Fishing in a pond near Southshore, I had 21 casts currently with no skill up.

I have the same thing, my skill is 171 and it moved by 1 for 50 successful catches in booty bay...
Where can I write about this error?
