downloaded on Linux enabled Chromebook but can't play

I am trying to play Turtle Wow on my cheap chromebook that I recently enabled Linux for running steam. I also downloaded Turtle Wow from this site but it says 'read only.' Do I need to enable the download through terminal commands?
