Baxxil is bugged

Baxxil keep attacking a character after being beated by me. I was unable to attack him and cant runaway because of petlike mechanic (when pet running near player)
It's 100% lose of character.

nope just happened to my Character aswell.
didnt even realise it was just checking my quest's and BAM.... Im dead.
Pretty shitty way to lose a char.

I have 500 hp and lose around 100 hp, when i reach the bridge he stop to hit me and i can complete the quest.

Happened to me, a quick alt + f4 and relog fast and you'll reset him.

I just died on this quest too and I'm seriously considering just stop playing now.
I don't think this is fair at all, losing the character because of one bug most people have no idea exists. Pretty sure 99% of everyone who tries to do this quest will die here and it's not fair at all.

If you look at your logs, you will see that its not baxxil who is attacking you, but an invisible, untargetable black riding wolf. I thought abandoning the quest would suffice but it didnt. As i panicked i just tried to run away and when i got past the far watch post bridge i stopped getting attacked, even though baxxil was still following me. So if you run away far enough you wont die

The problem is sometimes when you defeat him then talk to him for him to follow you. The hostile version of him doesn't despawn, it stays invisible and keeps hitting you. You must run away like running from any other mob. Then thr hostile invisible version of him runs away and resets.
