So I bought the item in question, Goblin Brainwashing Device, and I honestly feel mislead, but I get it now. You have to spend 5 gold each time you switch between the two specializations, and you can spend 500 gold to make it free. What I thought was you can make two specializations and once it was saved, it was free to switch between them, and if I wanted to reset one of them it cost me 5 gold, and the 500 gold let me reset them for free forever.

Please, on the page for the Goblin Brainwashing Device, IN BOLD, make sure the buyers who are dumb like me know that every single time you switch back and forth you spend 5 gold, so people are not upset with their purchase, and know what they are getting into.
