Anyone having trouble saving UI changes?

Hey mon,

So for some reason my chat settings (placement, size, background, etc) don’t seem to be saving upon log out. I’ve deleted my wtf folder and now not even the chat-cache is being made when I start the game.

Anyone having trouble saving ui settings?

Check the folder the game is in to see if it's set to read-only. That'll prevent UI changes from sticking.

what do when the folder keeps reverting to read only x.x it will not stay and the fixes online don't seem to be helping or i'm doing it wrong.

I've spent the better part of the day researching, testing, experimenting and even did fresh installs of the client on two different systems and OS'. The entire folder keeps reverting back to Read-Only no matter what I do.

If there's something to try other than the commands, security folder control, firewall permissions and firewall disabling, I'd love to hear it.
