Seeing the universe of Warcraft revisited with the kind of passion the Turtle dev team has approached it with has been extremely inspirational! But, still I'm left wondering about what kind of software they use to bring these new and old lands to life?
If anyone could shed some light on this, It'd be much appreciated!
What map editing software does TurtleWoW use?
Re: What map editing software does TurtleWoW use?
Noggit is the name, It's supposed to be for wow 3.3.5.
So I don't know if the software is open-source, and they modified it for 1.12.1, or if they edit on 3.3.5 and then backport MPQ files to 1.12.1.

Thanks for the info, Kyzen! I'll go about investigating it now.
