Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
- Name: "Left Hand Path"
- Last until cancelled
- Can be bought at the holy strike vendor
- Lets you use your spells like your opponent was a demon or undead
- Gives you 5% extra chance to be critically hit (or 7% if 5 not enough to balance it out)
- Makes you glow with an amber light
Is this a good idea?
Is there any chance that it will be implemented?

Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
Agreed. Being able to use exorcism and holy wrath on any target would be huge.
Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
Some flavor text: "The Paladin becomes their own god, gaining authority over what is good and what is evil."
Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
To be honest the way I'd see exorcism work would be perhaps a fanatical view much like the Scarlet has.
Burn the heretics.
Burn the heretics.

Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
When I first came up with this spell I used the name "Prejudice" for it. The name "Left Hand Path" is from half of this original idea, that the power light gives you is strongly dependent on your subjective inner sense of justice. (Arthas only lost the light because he wasn't fanatic enough) While "Prejudice" describes a zealot "Left Hand Path" describes a warrior-philosopher, who correlates the light with knowledge and accepts that all justice is subjective but follows their own anyways. Because that's the only thing we can all do.

Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
I think this could be achieved best with a librsm item
Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
Sounds 2 custom.
Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
I like the idea. Maybe it could be a talent from the retri tree that could be dipped into (3rd/4th row?) from the other specs.

Gothric - 15 Human Paladin (Nordanaar)

Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
Make a lvl 30 paladin quest that rewards a blue
Libram of inquisition: exorcism can be cats gaian at all tsgrets but delays half dmg against non undead and demons.
Why make it low level reward with a quest? To make sure every paladin has this to tank probably while levelong. Because a tank without range Pull sucks ass.

Re: Paladin spell that takes away undead/demon restrictions
If it's needed at that lvl it should be made into a talent or spell, or exorcism should just be redesigned to allow all targets. making it a lvl 30 item that would almost never be replaced defeats the utility slot that librams are meant to fulfillGeojak wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 9:16 amMake a lvl 30 paladin quest that rewards a blue
