{Hunter} Weapon options?

Is there a place that I can check which weapons a hunter can use? A couple of other classes too, but mostly for hunter. In retail classic hunters could not learn fist weapons, but they can here on Turtle, at least it was green in the options when I was in Ironforge and looking to learn a new weapon skill.

wdym? there are many databases for 1.12 including turtle wows own with the custom items on

As far as I can see in the database here, there is no list of what classes can use which weapon skills. As far as I can see in other databases, hunters cannot learn fist weapons, but that seemed to be an option for my hunter here. I am not talking about an individual weapon but the weapon skill. I thought that if you could not learn a weapon skill then it would not show green when filtering by 'available' at the trainer. Thus my confusion.

The only weapons hunters cannot learn are maces and wands. This was a large reason for the popular 'every weapon is a hunter weapon' meme.

This page has information on which classes can learn which weapon skills. The info is from Wrath but the it should be mostly correct for Turtle, excepting that rogues cannot learn 1h axes and druids cannot learn polearms.
