Filter non-englisch sub froum on recent topics list

i think most people use the recent topics list to stay up to dae about waht are the recent and new topics to dicsuss thse days. recently we got more and more non englisch posts. we got the non-englisch sub froum categoires for these after all. which is a great thing. but these do show up for everyone in the recent topics too, which is probably not very intersting or relevant for most. the main language of the server is english after all.

I we just exluded the non english froum from the recent topic lists, then we would never get into a problem where you check the list and half of it is in a langugage you dont understand because there is spanish, russian, chinese, etc. not picking on any language in particular, i dont have anything agianst any non englisch langauge.

but i do thing it would be good to keep the recent topics list english only, just like word chat ingame. even if its not a problem now, it could become one if lets say half the player population somehow became german and flodded the forum in the language. with this minor change, it would not bother the iternational english playerbase at all.

I looked into a few of those Chinese topics on the front of recent list. Quite a few are just peole bumping their own qq groups (like Chinese discord) over and over again with turtle smiley.

I don't want to see these. They are a waste of my time as I don't understand the language.

I wonder if it were possible to add some translator tool to the website. Making chinese topics automatically westerner-readable might be an alternative in that case.

I mean, not really. Its even later now and I just as easily scrolled past....took one click of my mouse wheel. I'm not sure how my fingers will ever recover from this exercise. As for the OP's post, sure it was english, but I still had to figure out what was being said by incorrect grammar, no offense Geojak. You're much smarter than me, so I'm not really complaining about your grammar, so much as it took some, albeit small, amount of deciphering. I would equate it to just as much effort as the single click of the mouse scroll wheel. What I did mind, was the constant bumping of topics, which, I thought was against TOS. As annoying as it is to see Chinese folks do it, its twice as annoying watching people do it to "prove" their point. Which again, was having to scroll ever so slightly down, or even *gasp* the next page to find a post. Is it really that big of a deal to see a post in a different language then move on past it?

Just a small real world example. As I'm walking down an area of shops, I don't go into every single shop, including the ones I don't like. I just go into the shop I need. I'm not gonna begrudge the shop owner for standing on the curb saying "hey come into my shop, look at what I have for sale" every so often.
