Idk if this has been suggested yet but I think it would be cool to have a new challenge mode where you are cut off from the auction house and player trade which would force you to have to get all your gear and materials for professions from the world and dungeons. Possibly adding group ironman as well allowing a friend group 1-5 people to trade with one another while leveling up but only with each other.

I think this sounds way more interesting then simply being restricted to white and grey items. Thoughts?

I suppose you mean for non-HC characters? Otherwise it is only a small tweak from current HC rules

Except you cannot trade with anyone. You have to get all the gear on your own and all the matts for professions on your own. Unless it's group ironman which you can trade with the people you choose to group with 1-5 people only.
