I feel like I've been seeing a lot of HC's dying and dinging in pairs and it seems like they're multiboxing. I have reported a handful as well, because its pretty obvious when a person is on one character and running around with another that's on follow and only moves a half second after the other during quests that require mob looting. I feel like an obvious way to counter this is to disable the follow functionality. After all...."you stand alone" in the HC challenge.
It would also prevent players from being followed around unwanted as well. This is probably a much more rare event, but I did have a level 10 HC follow me around once. No idea why. I tried losing them and failed, and they eventually aggro'd and died.

Re: Discourage HC multiboxing by disabling the follow function
I wonder if there's a way to disable /follow on just Hardcore characters…? 'Cause honestly, this is a brilliant idea! It's so simple, but would do so much damage to Hardcore multi-boxers. I love it.
Not currently playing. Just skulking and snarking~

I saw someone in Elwynn multi-boxing 5 characters couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, I think anything more than one is literally against TOS.
Re: Discourage HC multiboxing by disabling the follow function
I report as many as I can find. I hate the idea of punishing non-HC/non-multiboxers by completely disabling follow. If it can't be done for just HC players, I still think it would be a worthy sacrifice. I've seen a lot of warmode lowbies following 60s that are not PvP flagged, which is also against ToS. Anything to make their lives more difficult seems good to me.
