Mailing cross faction characters

Greetings TurtleWow,
It currently is not possible to mail my toon on the same account simply due to the faction.
All of my toons are alliance except one. I would like to mail my toon gear I find out on my adventures along with gold and bags that I am able to spare.

Please let me know your thoughts. I would appreciate this being an available feature since we are allowed to create both Alliance/Horde characters/toons on the same account, and also since we just got the feature to be a diplomat.

I'm kinda surprised it isn't possible to mail it while you have Diplomat status on. Seems strange it's not included as a default.

Cool, now I have to put an apple on the AH for 50g, let someone on the other faction buy it and have it send to my other toon (can't buy items from the AH from your own account toons) ;-)
