Server Database Website needs some serious work

The https://database.turtle-wow.org/ site is woefully out of date, and lacking in a lot of details. Several items that are part of sets are listed without the set bonus such as https://database.turtle-wow.org/?item=83415 .

Some items arent even listed properly for looking up, unless you intend to tell us that theres only 496 cloth armor pieces in the entire game, some of the ones from the cloth category dont even have a slot assigned to them making it nigh impossible to compare different pieces of the same slot.

There is no RFK quests section. There is also no quest section for any of the custom dungeons or custom zones outside of looking through every single custom turtle quest and having to pick a needle out of a haystack to find the one you need.

All in all, the database needs serious work, its barely functional

Agreed but not only the database the talent page on the website is also still outdated.

Its not just the missing or wrong items, its also the fact, that our databse has no filter
whatssoever, and a limited amount of displayed items (500 max.).

For example, try to find Tazans Tusk right here without searching for the name.
Its not possible. You can only display 500 items, and no filter.

That means, if you dont know the name of an item, you wont find it, ever,
wich is super terrible on a custom server with custom items...

iirc the db software is open source, they have the source code. PHP for example. they can make edits to fix stuff and add features that it lacks.

if I can get a link to the software used, I can try my hand at fixing it up for PHP 8, adding features, and hopefully the turtle staff could merge my commits it into their fork

It says at the bottom of their DB that it's based on AoWoW. I don't know if "based on" means significantly modified or what, but I would imagine if AoWoW is open source you could tinker with that and offer them a proof of concept, using "view source" on existing Turtle WoW DB pages.
