Sands of Time suggestions: let your voice be heard!

As you know we have started a series of updates called Sands of Time where we plan to bring back to life cut content from the original game. The first one has been the revival of "Disguise", a rogue skill (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=295).

Even if we have a lot of things in mind, we also want to know what cut content would you like to see implemented in Turtle WoW.

I have a guess that everything would be trippin' over server possibilities, I mean if server will have such options to make these changes actually work and to lessen the burden I'd like to suggest you make a list of things you can actually implement and let the population decide which things would work out well and wouldn't endanger our loved Turtle Server to suffer from consequences of these changes implemented.

For example if you apply changes to one class only and leave other classes blizzlike with no balance or sufficient alternative skills or similar stuff then there might be a situation where only one that class would be overpopulated and might tip the scales even further into the depths of disbalance and awry.

I know it's a long shot, but here goes nothing.

Apparently goblins were supposed to be a playable race back in vanilla to counterpart gnomes. You wouldn't have to import cata models, as in vanilla their models are already fully customizable, male and female. They can wear clothing, have all their own unique emotes, etc. However, adding them would tip the balance as one faction would have less races than the other. Maybe a pandaren-esque compromise with the player choosing what faction hed join would even it out. Adding goblins would definitely make the server unique without sacrificing the classic integrity of the server.

I personally would volunteer to help integrate them into the game. Whether its building a new starting zone, writing quests, etc.

This would rocketlaunch the server to the heights beyond our imagination!
Best suggestion imo...

Especially if, Kazgrim, can help over it's realization... would be OSOM!

I hate goblins and will never play them... I just want whats best for realm and this is probably most unique feature we could possible have... if there is ANY chance to make it happen - DO IT!!

Also to add that I'd halt the progression with that disguise thing and such stuff...
It's double edge sword. Potential negatives:
- everyone rolling rogue to see what's the fuss about
- others that are not rogues feel left out

I support the concept BUT:
- develop some unique feature to each class
- release it when you got everyone covered
- profit

It would be like... ummmm... what I was about to say.... ummm oh yea...

EXPANSION PACK!

1st expansion:
Goblin race with that pandaren alike sheet to pick faction.

2nd expansion:
Class skill update

3rd expansion:
Adding roasted cabbage to cooking recipe list and what not... turtle_tongue_head

Overall, if we are taking this way with server I see no limits and it can only profit us if we are gonna stay moderate and not overuse it and fill realm with useless, pointless sheetz which basically ruin gameplay and immersion.

So far i'm totally up for this, but I'd like to keep it in some logical limits. None wants to play 0.5 rates fkn Heroes WoW server dead_turtle_head

So, which another race will you suggest to either remove from Horde faction or add to Alliance?

Since, you know, no one will like that someone got better than them or uneven sport to begin with, right?

There's no way to add Pandarens without client modifications. Their models aren't in the client yet!

Considering the size of our team and the time we need to implement these kind of things, it's better to keep doing small and constant releases of content, believe me! turtle_tongue_head

So after a bit of searching what I have found was that there were talks of player housing, as well as a first aid item call Powerful Smelling Salts. There was a list of new zones that got the ax including Hellfire Peninsula, Quel'thalas, Karazhan, and Gilneas! So. Many. Choices!

You missed entire point...

Tell me where anyone mention adding Pandarens... or adding new races besides goblins...

Thing is to add JUST A SINGLE RACE (Goblins) with a pandaren ALIKE faction choice.

You make goblin and you pick a faction which you wanna side with...

Blizzard even considered making goblins a neutral race, neither horde nor alliance.

Some ideas about goblins:

Upon creation, they spawn in one of the goblin towns, with a portal leading to one of the standard starting zones. Alternatively, maybe the goblin could start at level 10 and just start in Ratchet.

Their racial mount could be a turtle.

Playable classes:
Warrior, rogue, mage, warlock, priest


Racials:
Tinkering: +15 skill bonus to engineering or Chemist: +15 skill bonus to alchemy
Cunning: Increase agility by 5%
Time's Money: 5% more coins drop from mobs
BOOM!: Cause massive aoe damage in an area, but at the cost of your own life
