Spears as thrown weapons

I think it's pretty cool to have a Spear as a thrown weapon, it's so usable to a bandit or troll headhunter RP characters

Really wanted to play as a warrior and use a spear as my thrown weapon so we can play as a warcraft 3 troll headhunter

And spears as a melee weapon, and I don't mean polearms, because their animation is not like how a spear is used.

Also, I believe a throwing spear would also require a new animation. And for this reason both your ideas and mine seem too unrealistic and far-fetched.

Throwing spears are in the game. Some troll npcs use it.
Might be possible. If the animation are the problem. Just add a special throw weapon that works like a bow for trolls only

Throwing weapons in general could use some love. If we get more racials troll rogues/warriors/hunters are prime candidates for a throwing axe skill.
