Warden Illusion for the Donation Shop!

A Request to Add the Kaldorei Warden Model to the Donation Shop ⛓



The Donation Shop offers a wide variety of currently unplayable models (due to a lack of emotes, animations, or faction restrictions) that broaden character customization options for the low price of 160 Donation Tokens or $16 USD. Some of the most popular illusions are Dryad (loved by Children of Cenarius), various Scourge options, and Furbolg. It is always a treat to see a Satyr running around in Xavian, or an Ogre following a Goblin around emoting with their ‘Boss.’

Currently, the look of a Warden cannot truly be replicated. Beaststalker’s T1 set comes close, but is quite the grind to get to and only available to certain classes. I imagine that if the Turtle WoW Devs released the Warden model as an illusion (Maiev’s own which is shared with the Warden in Alah’thalas) that many would make this purchase.



Client made a similar item in Legion, where players could from the Wardens receive a toy which acted as an illusion - turning them into a Warden temporarily.

This means many are already used to this form of illusion necessary for RP, and would be predisposed to purchasing it.

I hope this suggestion is taken for consideration, as the recent additions to the Donation Shop helped to spur on RP quite a bit already.

Like at minimum it would be great to have a Warden helmet, we literally have the icon for it.

Also if anyone doubts the beaststalker set, TBC Wardens literally use recolored beaststalker + valor chest as their base, with the custom shoulders, cape and helmet over top.

Having warden helm and shoulders (and the rest of the set) ingame would be really awesome, but I don't see the cape being available to player models - it would cause too many clipping issues and might require all the player races to be re-rigged, which just isn't feasible.

However, it COULD be possible in UE5 client, where, instead of rigging, capes could have cloth physics to sidestep the problem entirely. This could open the door to entirely new and awesome cape models and styles.

I play as a Night Elf, and I would honestly love to see other players have this illusion :D

I feel like the cloak is 90% of the iconic look, but it might work with a green long cloak with white lining and the spikes. But a enveloping cloak would be the dream. I would buy the illusion regardless of the cloak

Speaking of Wardens, since Turtle has ready made use of the model for Thalassian Highlands (Sira Moonwarden), I'd love to see the Nighthaven Wardens updated to use that model!
