Day and Night

I don't know if this is a stupid idea but I just want to say that it would been kinda cool ( in my opinion )

If there were more Day and Night differences.
Like mobs, loots or EVEN Raid Bosses that spawn at night or day only.

and by night I mean LATE

I guess it's not practical but I would still just love to see more of this.
the the moment it only really matters in getting a fish? LoL

It would make some trouble with guilds but it should be tons of fun, so what if u can't make it the night raid/loot? u get the morning with different loot.

I just mean there is alot of good ideas that can come from this :P
Pls dont limit day and night cycle to fish :D

I think it would be cool! I would also like to perhaps carry a light source in the dark. Maybe this is something the Unreal 5 engine could help with? I guess we'll see what we see...

While i get your Idea, it also comes with a Problem: If there would be exclusive stuff to the day/Night cycle, you would exclude Players who can only Play during certain Times and/or are living in different time zones.

I did another Suggestion regarding day/Night cycle, but that'd be purely cosmetic, cuz even with that Change, If we'd add exclusive Content for certain Times of the day, we'd exclude people who only have a few hours of time to Play.

Well, when it was day on one continent, it would be night on the other. Also, day/night times would change with the seasons that they put in. That would keep people who can only play at the same time every day from always playing in the dark on their favorite continent. Also, I have enormous faith in the resiliency of the human animal. And, while dealing with an unfair day/night cycle in a video game would constitute a challenge for some, I feel that with appropriate medication and a robust social support network, many if not most would manage to deal with it.

Examples of the Day and Night changes:



- Sungrass Spawn at day only
- Moon stones drop only at Night only
- Mooncloth craftable at night only
- Spawn time of some noctrual creatures is changed to night or Day only (like Moontouched Owl Beast)
- Night elves gain some kinda small racial boost at night
- Change or Add tons of items with Day & Night Theme:

Am Glad there are people who want that.

But really there is just SOOO much more that could be done about Night/Day cycle
Alchemy items, enchants , whole item sets, rare mobs.

Or just even more trade items instead of just fish
even novelty items would be nice, Like IDK something that turns you into a worgen at night

I think this suggestion is great, but only if day and night ingame are decoupled from IRL. What i mean by this is that, to not lock out players with restrictive play hours out of certain content, a full day/night cycle should last, say, 5 hours. The fact it isn't a divider of 24 would even make it desync : if you login at the same local time two days in a row, you won't arrive in world at the same time of day in game. Sounds cool !

Btw, currently, day and night affects fishing. Iirc stonescale eels can only be caught at dawn and dusk.
