It always bothered me that Onyxia and Nefarian's heads give the same buff. With World Buffs no longer being allowed in raids, I think there is space to have distinct buffs for each of the heads - just to help out the folks hanging about by the gates.
Onyxia's Head can still give "Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer"
"Increases critical chance of spells by 10%, melee and ranges by 5% and grants 140 attack power. 120 minute duration"
but Nefarian is a tricky and dastardly sort of dude, much different than his sister. Defeating him should grant a unique bonus.
I propose that turning in Nefarian's head should grant - "Bolstering Shout of the Dragonslayer"
"Increases all stats by 20, +20 to all resistances, and +5% dodge chance. 120 minute duration"
I know it's basically just Mark of the Wild swapping armor for dodge, but I always felt it kinda dumb standing around in a city and one head drops after the other and it just resets the timer on the same buff. But that's my take on it.
2 Dragonslayer Buffs
Re: 2 Dragonslayer Buffs
That sounds abit weak. The dragonslayer buff is alot stronger than this. People wouldn't like that change. I think it's fine as it is. They're both dragons so the same buff is fine.Mistermadigan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 9:07 am It always bothered me that Onyxia and Nefarian's heads give the same buff. Although I do think 'Warchiefs Blessing' should be named to Warchief's Battlecry and alliance should be changed to 'King's Blessing' although that might sound too similar to blessing of kings.
Re: 2 Dragonslayer Buffs
World buffs in general (+chronoboon) probably need some kind of looking at in general now that balance in regards to raids isn't a concern.

Also, the Hakkar buff gives 15% to Stats so we already have a world buff for that.
Maybe:
"Increase Casting and Attack Speed by 5%, all resistances +30 and +5% Dodge"
That seems like a better buff.
Re: 2 Dragonslayer Buffs
Wbuffs seem fine as is, all are incredibly powerful for leveling already and thats really all they are good for.
I do agree id like to see a rework with chronoboon now though, maybe make it a permanent item now that its not a raid consume, help people farm and such.
