I do it in real lol. I guess Blizzard wanted to be appropriate and not promote "bad" habits. Although there are questionable things in game.

If you can get drunk and drugged up in game I don't see a reason why my character cannot go for a smoke.
It's just a suggestion that I'd be happy to see implemented in the game.

Maybe a drop from scarlet monastery trash or sth :

Two hand sword 3.6 speed, suiting dmg
+40 ap when figthing undead or demons
Chance on hit: heals u for 30-50 health and grants u 20 str for 20 seconds (like mini crusader enchant)

Oddly enough I already made a BoE sword that drops from Scarlet Champions in the Cathedral wing, its name is Crusader's Redemption, you can find it in the database if you look it up.

Ok then: Crusader's Libram, increases your chance to critically strike with all spells and attacks by 1%, can be a BoE from strat crusade side trash.

Are you still taking suggestions for new items? I hope so or I have wasted a day at the office! Low level items need a revamp, so I had some fun ideas for a level 30 item set that could break up the leveling and set some new fun goals. Perhaps make a token item that drops off 3 different bosses around level 30?

DPS: Not too high (again, this is not a weapon intended to be wielded by warriors or paladins).

Stats: +100 armor, +15 stamina, +10 agility, +10 strength, +9 intellect, +9 spirit (or some mp5), +15 damage & healing, +30 AP in cat & dire bear forms (just a wild guess - please adjust the numbers according to the staff's item level).

Dropped by: Preferably Mor Grayhoof or a boss in Dire Maul (Gordok Tribute?) / Blackrock Spire

Purpose: A staff for druids who prefer a hybrid/shapeshifting playstyle (solo & 5 man content, PvP), complementing the Feralheart Set (https://classic.wowhead.com/item-set=51 ... rt-raiment).
The staff is not intended to be a replacement for a pure tanking weapon (like Warden Staff).
On second thought: Why not? It's kinda ridiculous that a level 43 staff is preBIS for tanking druids...

Niche but I recommend taking the displayIDs from high level (elite) scarlet NPCs and making sets based off of those scarlet classes. Not endgame sets but decent BoE level sets that could be introduced to give pre-dungeon set gear for people level 50-55. They might not even need to be literal sets, but just gear with a common naming scheme so it's clear they visually go together.

I propose to increese drop rate of Incendosaur Skin Gloves from 0.005%. I've been farming it for a week but failed. At the same time I've got 2x Incendosaur Skin Pauldrons which drop rate is 0.1%. Pretty good set, unfortunely is low popular.

Mail armor set or weapon/accessory set with agi, stam and intelect for melee hunter. Set that buffs raptor strike and perhaps buffs/makes mongoose bite and counterattack usable from offensive player/pet actions or after casting raptor strike. Or maybe makes explo and flame traps usable in combat.

Plus some hit and crit chance increas.

My suggestion:
Ever since wow came out there hasnt been low level weapon sets, like Dal Rends swords, or Zul Farraks swords, and thats something i really love. Defias set is amazing, druid set from WC also, Scarlet set, all good stuff! They dont have to be super strong, but make them available around 20ish level, or 30 (as levels slow down from there and would be usable longer) either as world drops or dungeon loot so there arent too many of them (dont make them fixed q reward, so everyone can get it), make them last 7-10 levels.

1: sword and shield set, designed for wars/paladins, since we have increased number of protection paladins leveling. Minor armor and defense set bonus, nothing OP.

2: dual daggers designed for rogues, set gives bonus chance to hit for example

3: dual axes,for hunters,shamans,rogues set gives bonus dmg to beasts

4: caster main hand/offhand, set gives bonus mana regen, spell dmg.

5: healing staff/neck, bonus healing, mana regen.

6: dual swords, everyones favourite. Rogues, warriors, hunters, all could benefit from it.

lots of posiblilities.

Would be cool to have items allowing to build up your char to some theme you pick. For example, making an Orc that is a warrior, fighting people in certain region, he could be recognizable because of his spear that has for example bleed dmg, fire dmg, lightning dmg, or whatever he might pick. Or being an arcane mage that has a sword that scales with int? or deals arcane damage so that he could do some cool damage from a sword...you know, giving items to certain concepts like nature dmg, poison/bleed fist weapons etc. It would be cool to have a way of building character for certain level brackets so you could be a twink on bg/world or rp concept of someone that has this and that. We got few damage sources, combining them could be cool.

Besides just DMG effects, how about some demonic themed stuff like Daemon Fire greatsword, which is dealing +x fire damage, but also rips parts of your soul, dealing smaller amount of DMG to wielder, or sword that drains soul after target is killed etc

I've suggested some race/class changes so it would be so cool without that, but imagine having actual spears to throw...

I am almost sure that its been said that they cant make new spells and effects for weapons. Id be happy just with some new items popping here and there, since we all mostly play classic for 10th time at least :)

..or is it just me.

There are throwing spears in WOW for sure in WOTLK, not sure if before tho. Up to wotlk there were 2 models of them

Now I recognize there's items with % damage to pets, for example the new epic chest. However 3% is such a low bonus you won't notice it. And honestly I think 8% it too low as well, should be 10-20% at least in my opinion. But I put at 8% to keep inline with what's already in the game.

This is a item for the melee hunters, +5 swords to diversify the builds more, although being a copy of edgemasters with + to axes and daggers would be cool. Ideally it would have +5 to swords, axes, daggers,fist weapons and polearms (so hunters can play their class fantasy). But maybe that would make the item look ridiculous.

I think one mistake of crafted classic items - the items are good pre-raid, but the materials to craft them is ridicoules so nobody ends up making them. That's my motivation for the craft cost, it's not free but it's reasonable for a pre-raid hunter to be able to farm together and not feel like they are wasting gold that should be used on other items like devilsaur.

For example Heartseeker, great pre-raid item but it required 10 arcanite bars. Ebon hand really cool weapon, requires Lava core, fiery core and ontop of that 12 arcanite bars! Nobody crafts it, and there is currently no lava or fiery cores to buy, even if they were it would never have been spent on this.
So as an additional note - lower the materials required for a lot of the items that are unused!
