Also, we have plans to continue the storyline of the expansion, so the future of tWoW is and will always expand. Something to keep in mind.

Progression has a cap. There's no such thing as infinite gameplay, so even when we do add more things at level 60 the illusion of not having much to do will still linger. The reality is that it takes a very long time to progress. Depending on what your goals are, you could be playing level 60 for ye...

unfortunately its not just the textures its the overall complexity of later models (animations, particles, vertices) that makes them very distinguishable from vanilla models

Those are great ideas. Vendors and trainers would easily blend in with other hostile mobs to players not in the roleplay mode. An npc to disable / enable warmode would be a good idea actually. that way you cant disable it at will. probably have the npc in stormwind / orgrimmar

A warmode could be disabled if you just delete the glyph, no? This is why I suggested some zones be made contested, but that got a lot of negative response.

Hm book items can’t be made in the item forge? Some book items let you right click to open to read just like a gameobject book.

We try to stick with models that fit with the vanilla aesthetic, so these models arn’t something we would consider unfortunately.

Can't you just make them unable to loot chests? Like making the chest disappear just by trying to open them. Edit: Maybe you could put dungeons to RP mode and all the mobs are friendly in the dungeon but nothing can be gained from the dungeon. Quests, buffs, chests and all that is out of the questi...

The point of the mode is to lose when you die, so anything other than losing the character doesn't achieve the purpose of such a mode.

The day a player (eg. dishonored), can attack non-pvp flagged other players, this server is no longer Turtle WoW. I like the idea of harvesting simple wood from nodes, like gardening profession we have. As for linen cloth, what if we scavenged linen cloth from low level cloth items? This would probably not be possible game mechanics wise, but I think it makes more sense than having a CD to basically create free...
