Yep, there have always been ghosts there (at least in vanilla), usually you don't see them (without detect invis) or aggro them (without AOE). That's a rough way to lose a HC toon, but lesson learned I guess.

HC toon died to "citizen of Lordaeron"

I guess my ignorance and/or faulty memory got my HC character killed while practicing on a target dummy on an area I thought was safe. I didn't remember there being deadly invisible ghosts on the way into the entrance of Undercity.

Re: Rework low level recipes

Was just thinking about this. Silver for blacksmithing needs to be removed from lower level recipes because it's not possible to obtain silver until you have out leveled the item. I think it is ok to have rare ingredient for special crafts. You can buy it on individual basis. The only difference of...

Re: Patch 1.16.6 — Work in progress!

My pick is have Alliance Goblins so a new race doesn't need to be added, since there are already goblins that work in, and even for, the Alliance. I agree with this. Goblins should work for both sides. But I know this would take possibly too much effort to implement any time soon. The Alliance alre...

Re: Patch 1.16.6 — Work in progress!

Playable ogres when? One of the original horde races needs some love since blizzard won't do it. Only problem with that is that they would need to Introduce a new ally race as well, and i don't think anyone agrees on what that would be. My pick is have Alliance Goblins so a new race doesn't need to...

Re: Low fps and I dont know why

The game is a stuttering mess on Windows 10 and 11. That's why I only play it on Linux through Steam Proton. It has to do with how DX9 is emulated in modern windows. This might be your problem, but it could be something else. Ty for the reply, is there a way to fix that DX9 issue? See if this works...

I've been running the game at a smooth 60+ FPS on Windows 10 for a year (and several other vanilla WoW servers over the last decade), so there must be another hardware or software factor involved in why you two experience this issue. I have 5 PCs and none of them run it "smooth" vsync wil...

We're absolutely sorry about this delay. However, development is ongoing...

Re: playable on Linux?

Works really well through proton on Linux steam.

Be sure to download the Linux runtime boot soldier and proton 7

Also may have to change the .exe file path in the steam game manager.

If you need more detailed directions just ask me. I might be able to make a tutorial video.

I've had serious issues with the same thing. Especially none linear motion while the camera is at an angle to the direction I'm going. Objects appear to move at a frame rate of like 2fps. It does better when you run it in windowed maximized. But it's buttery smooth running on Linux through Proton ru...

Re: An independent Hardcore Turtle server/realm ?!

I could see this happening only if a population level is achieve for the current single server.

If the population gets too high to handle, the first viable solution would be this separation along the clean lines of who does or does not want to be playing hardcore mode.
