It would be nice if Scatter Shot could be used in conjunction with the Survival or Beast Mastery talent tree, without making the entire Marksmanship tree because of a single talent. PvP Balance is the main Problem with Hunter Pets! I like the ideas, but you have to adjust Solo PvE <> PvP <> Raid I fear the only Way to make Pets fair is to make them weaker for low lvl fresh 60 / PvP (around -20%) and better for Raiding/Late game (T2.5+) (around +20%) And maybe add the Lone Wolf...

This is my suggestion on how to make all pets fun, unique, relevant and viable for different playstyles. Wolf Passive. Thick Fur. Takes 10% less Nature, Frost and Fire damage. Furious Howl. If you think MM is bad, try raiding as a BM. Hunter trees need a complete rework to add some flavour to each spec. That doesn't mean increasing damage but make each spec have a different flavour. BM needs some serious work for raiding. Not all specs are meant to be the optimal end-game raiding spec...

I'm not generally a fan of a lot of vanilla's 5 point talents (Critical Hit or Hit are the exception since those stats are great all around), so I agree with Steelx's assessment with a lot of Marksmanship talents. Hunters definitely do not need to deal any more damage. They're already over the top currently due to custom changes. I'd be down for removing Trueshot if this got implemented. I think it's a shame to remove RWS, as a straight percent damage increase is genuinely useful, and would be a desirable ability for other builds too, were it not for how many points you have to invest for it. I haven't played a hunter on this server, are you sure bestial focus gives 20% increased focus generation and not extra 20 flat focus per tick? I know that is the way it works on blizzard classic, but on every private vanilla server ever it always gave 20 focus per tic which is 80% inc focus genera...
