I'd more just give them a totem from the quest that makes shifting cheaper. It's a slot that druids don't even get the chance to fill until the endgame and the options are incredibly sparse. Could also offer a choice of totems that give a buff to some ability or set of abilities in your desired form.

If I were to implement something like this, it would be a two-man structure instead to bring up the shortcomings some classes have with solo content and balance things out a little better. I'd also make it short, like a few rooms, or maybe even just one big room with doors opening up in sequence for...

I am totally down for something like this. There's a few areas like Dustwallow Marsh, Swamp of Sorrows, and Deadwind Pass that could really use some love.
