Are they planning to add Deadly Throw or some good high level throwing weapons? Can't imagine much use out of increasing throwing range otherwise.

Going through a first pass on all this now, kudos for the effort.

What items would appear in these fugitive quest chests? Did you have specific item pools in mind, or did you want them to function as regular chests?

I’d say the easiest thing would be to have small furnished settlements/campsites in open world locations of hostile races.

You could even create an elite “boss” npc with custom loot/kill quest to encourage dev support.

Is it possible to swap weapon model IDs when creating custom items?

Example)
- Create throwing spears/hammers by replacing the throwing axe model ID with polearm/mace model ID

I enjoy the idea of bonuses from an rp standpoint (skinning = +dmg to beasts for example). Though I doubt any bonus can match engineerings utility and still be balanced however.

I’d say small buffs or effects would be easier to implement while still staying in line with the server’s ideals.

Might be too niche a suggestion, especially since you can at least remove spells from your action bars at the beginning normally. It is interesting to have discussions on how players impose self limitations on the server. I’d say the hardcore mode is a great example of finding enjoyment through pers...

Dropping a goblin landline sounds very cool and easy to implement. Would have to adjust dmg values as you lv, or simply make it a flash bomb that dazes enemies for a clean getaway. A small chance of backfiring would be appropriate, bit of dmg or self induced stun would help balance out such utility ...

Best case I can make for this type of server is once you hit max lv to have your toon revert back to lv1 of the new class. I’d also add keeping faction reps after switching, maybe even profession skills, to make the journey easier. But then you’d have to factor in redoing quests and working that mec...

The turtle speed already increases while you lv, in fact it’s speed is half of your current lv.
Ex)lv 60 = 30% speed.

It’s a great idea really to counteract the usual issues of passing out free mounts to players.

Being able to collect more items is always a bonus, plus making it possible through donations is great for the server.
