First option promotes PVP (and yes it's voluntary) but the server is known for being PvE/RP based. I'd rather promote the BG system for those that like PvP. Already have players running WSG at lower levels.

Option 2 sounds good, maybe make it a 'first weekend of the month' deal.

Sounds like a solid foundation. As an old school character roleplayer, I always welcome more roleplay to the server and not just odd (and they are often odd) events. Look forward to bumping into your representatives around Azeroth.

Just tried this and have my imp on defensive, firebolt (level 1) on auto cast and he casts fine when I attack, I don't have to command him to cast. Maybe clear out your WDB before you log in, always worth a try.

The RP aspect is present in many forms, but a lot of people here just want the PvE so be patient. That same link says that they were only removed in patch 1.4 so they must have been in, and you'd think, be here too.

Works fine for me, make sure that you haven't banked an item and as well as the WDB clearance, drop the quest first, clear cache and re-take it. Should be fine.

Did he have it in 1.12? If so then it ought to be active here. If we go the "Blizzard changed it in..." route then we may as well ask for bigger stack sizes, guild vaults...

Quest works fine. If you have an issue, usually from failing the quest previously:
1) Abandon quest
2) Log out and and delete the contents of WDB folder
3) Log back in and re-take the quest
4) Don't forget to grab 10 gorilla fangs!

As is always the case, estimated times for patch application can be way off, especially with a clock on turtle time. Pretty sure the turtle will be off it's back and in the water again soon.
