Legend Has It...
Back when I played the retail version of World of Warcraft there was a guild on my server called the <Booty Bay Yacht Club> . It's always stuck with me as one of the more clever guild names that I've seen over the years. I like how they integrated something from the virtual world into their guild na...

Re: PvP and XP Boost Suggestions
1) I don't PvP, so no opinion to offer. 2) Now I have an opinion to offer... I've observed a consistent failing of many private WoW servers of the last 2-3 years is a lack of player investment. You look at servers that offered instant 60s or x2, x5, x10 XP rates and there tends to be a lack of playe...

Re: Veteran vs Newbie Raid Loot Issue
Ok, maybe one more thing, wouldnt it be nice to make it easier to go veteran based on some other contribution but the atendance? This seems like a reasonable request. Could you provide some examples? It would have to be something significant since it's probably going to take a month or two for the ...

Re: Veteran vs Newbie Raid Loot Issue
Some more feedback based on new posts. Keep 'em coming! well i have a only 1 quest: alters r considerate veterans? Alts are always tricky. We're still discussing this and hope to hear from others on this topic as well. There's a handful of raiders with alts that regularly swap toons to help with cer...

Re: Veteran vs Newbie Raid Loot Issue
Trying to reply to some questions for clarity. I appreciate everyone's contributions to the discussion! I agree with most of the things that have been discussed. I appreciate the dedication that you veterans make, but I want to know sometimes what you get in return. For example, there are many objec...

Re: Veteran vs Newbie Raid Loot Issue
...as far as attendance is concerned there should also be a path back to casual from veteran, aka missing 3 raids in a row will put you down a tier or something like that. of course, being on "standby" or missing for some important reason is another issue. i'm essentially hoping this veteran/nub di...

Veteran vs Newbie Raid Loot Issue
I've been getting a lot of complaints about the current loot system benefiting new raiders over veteran raiders. This makes sense since new raiders have a lot more gear slots that need upgrading and therefore get to roll more often compared to veteran raiders who need relatively fewer upgrades and t...

Wanted: Raid Class Leaders
We're looking for raid class leaders to help with progression. What does a class leader do? Class leaders serve as the first point of contact for other members of their class who either want to start raiding or want to improve their raid performance. Class leaders are familiar with their class raidi...

Re: Raid Event Calendar / Sign-Ups
When are new raids posted? I try to post new raid events roughly one week (5-7 days) in advance. If raiders want me to post the events as re-occurring weekly events I can do that, but I'd rather not. Having players who are active during the current week signing-up for raids reduces the number of no...

Re: Thorium Brotherhood Rep Grind
Yeah, it's hard to track attrition. Raiders come and go and the pandemic has altered a lot of lives/schedules. Most players who are on the Crafted Raiding Gear list tend to give someone else access to their account if they're leaving for an extended period of time. That's not always the case, but so...

Re: Thorium Brotherhood Rep Grind
At exalted, the 2 most important recipes are Nightfall and DI Boots, both blacksmith. Why not just get your blacksmith + whatever to exalted, then get someone else with the other two professions to Revered and let them rep up to exalted naturally with time? Sure, now you have two players you have t...

Re: Raid Event Calendar / Sign-Ups
Please note, if you're signing-up for raids that means you're showing up for raids. Signing-up for raids you do not attend will count against you when determining raiding slots in the future.
