I think Gifted's guide about being "raid ready" is really useful and perhaps people should be directed to that. I made sure to check it before bringing my druid for the first time and it helped a lot.

Totally agree about the importance of enchants.
Even if you have a lvl 1 enchanter alt, they can disenchant any bind on equip items you send them for shards/essences etc.

As of tonight, I have the ZG rep to now make Mageblood Potions (12 mana per 5)

Mats are 1 dreamfoil, 2 plaguebloom, 1 cystral vial.
